Genetic evaluation

Belgian BBB Herd-Book publishes breeding values (genetic indexes) in regular base three times per year (March, July and December). Indexes are estimated for different traits - functional and zootechnical traits (1st, 2nd visits and linear score), carcass weight indexes for the bull-calves and so called genetic balance of the AI sires (summary of the strong and weak points of the bulls based on indexes).
